This whiteboard is way too cool, probably way too expensive too. Doesn't really fit in as 'affordable technology' as this blog advocates, dosn't it?
Nevertheless, it's an impressive innovation by MIT. What would be interesting to know is what else can it do besides simulating rolling balls.
